Nikki Tang Goes on Air for Talk Shop Asia Radio’s “Topic of the Week”

Nikki Tang, CEO of DMark Group of Companies, recently went on air for Talk Shop Asia’s July 29 airing with the theme “Empowered Women Entrepreneurs”. Hosted by Mr. Rolly Pagaspas and JT Solis,Ms. Nikki Tang confidently shared her experiences, thoughts, and tips in relation to beauty, wellness, and entrepreneurship.

As a pioneer in Derma-cosmetic commercial marketing for beauty and wellness (Dermocosmetic, Anti-ageing products and Medical Aesthetics devices) in the Philippines, businesses under the DMark group are now known to be reliable names in the industry, such as Bioderma; Sebamed; RevitaLash. Nikki Tang shares that DMark Beauty started as a family company and is now a partner of brands such as Watsons, PCX (Personal Care Exchange), and other beauty outlets in the Philippines, making dermocosmetic products accessible and available to the Filipino consumers.

Nikki Tang proves that a woman could make it big in an industry as long as she perseveres. “It’s very challenging, however, there is vast opportunity out there. As a woman leader in retail, I carry on the trait of grit and leadership. It is very important because perseverance and determination will help you achieve your long-term goal”, Nikki shares. She adds, “We believe that beauty as a PLATFORM allows women to be empowered in order to reach their dreams and their goals.”

Starting from zero to hero, Nikki believes that if she would like to fulfill anything, nothing is impossible even when you have to go through hardships. Being the eldest among her siblings, she wanted to become a good example to her brothers and sisters.

In this Internet-driven generation, it is really important to be knowledgeable in doing tasks online, especially in retail online shopping, which women are really into. It is important to develop decision making skills as women as it is not only needed in online shopping but also in real world responsibilities. As an empowered woman, Nikki concludes that the future holds great opportunities as not only men but also women contribute through their strengths, skills, and talents for the betterment of the society.
