Visiting the mothers of Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center
Last March 17, 2018, I, together with Philip Morris Foundation TC Philippines, AmCham PWOA, the Professional Women of American Chamber of Commerce Committee and Jaime V. Ongpin organized an outreach program wherein we visited the mothers at the Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center in Tondo, Manila. Women have this incredible potential to give life and bring hope into the world, and participating in last week’s event reminded me that so many mothers need help in giving their children a healthy and decent life for now and the future. I encourage all those who want to share their time and resources into joining these organizations that care for those in need. It would mean a big deal if we can all come together and support mothers who only want the best for their kids. May the rest of International Women’s Month bring a sense of service, compassion and the desire to give back to the community.
