Party People: Here Comes The … Bridal Showcase
Beautypreneur PH | Party People: Here Comes The … Bridal Showcase | Malaya Business Insights – WEDDING bells were ringing again at the highly anticipated bridal showcase in Conrad Manila. “Inspired Beginnings 2026” defined another year of breathtaking wedding celebrations for every kind of bride. Two of the three-day showcases featured couture from 10 of the hottest bridal designers, and I got to see the designs up close.
The first showcase featured “Harvest” by the Dubai-based couturier and creative director of Amato Couture, Furne One Amato. You couldn’t miss the first one — all avante-garde, intricate, and straight out of a dream. The showcase was for the bold brides, who wished to express their fabulous selves their way.
The next showcase featured the reimaginings of nine visionary talents: Ryan Ablaza Uson, Joe San Antonio, Manny Halasan, Vee Tan, Michael Chiu Rosero, Andrea Tetangco, Pablo Mendez, Jazel Sy, and Ehrran Montoya. They all took on different aspects of the bridal story from the prenuptial, Ting Hun, and entourage stages to the sponsor wear and after-party phases. While each talent showcased a unique voice and style, the designers all told a cohesive story, making the show magical.
Tablescapes were also a huge part of the three-day showcase because the reception and after-party stages were a huge part of the wedding experience. The tables featured different themes that truly transformed dining into an artful experience. I mean, who didn’t love gorgeously laid-out parties, right?
Gosh, from all I saw at “Inspired Beginnings,” this era of weddings was extra creative and luxurious. I was excited to see young couples bring their weddings to life with these masterpieces. Personally, my favorites from the runway were the ones that showed a little or, rather, a lot of leg. As I always said, ladies, you should show off your legs while doing so was in fashion and, of course, while you could. It was wise to take advantage of the times — wink, wink. Cheers!
