Raising Healthy Skin Habits Starts with Mom
Beautyprenuer PH | Raising Healthy Skin Habits Starts with Mom | The Metro Edit – DMark Beauty and Isispharma Dermatologie create a space where moms and kids can prioritize skin health together.
Families navigate a variety of skin concerns year-round, from sensitivity and dryness to irritation triggered by everyday environmental stressors. During summer, however, increased heat, sweat, and sun exposure can make these issues even more noticeable, particularly for children and those with sensitive skin.
While children are often the focus when these concerns arise, mothers frequently experience their own skin challenges during the warmer months, ones that are often overlooked as they prioritize everyone else’s comfort first.
Recognizing that skincare should be a shared experience rather than a one-sided responsibility, DMark Beauty and Isispharma Dermatologie recently hosted Skin Sanctuary: A Mother’s Summer Edition at The Peninsula Manila. The intimate gathering brought together mothers for a morning of expert insights, meaningful conversations, and science-backed solutions designed to support both maternal and children’s skin health during summer.
Putting Skin Barrier Health at the Center of the Conversation
For DMark Beauty, the event reflects its continued commitment to making globally trusted, dermatologist-backed skincare more accessible to Filipino families.
Among the brands leading that mission is Isispharma Dermatologie, a French dermatological skincare company. It is known for developing targeted solutions that help preserve and restore the skin’s natural balance. The brand focuses particularly on sensitive and compromised skin.
For Nikki Tang, CEO of DMark Beauty Corporation, the event was inspired by a simple but often forgotten truth: mothers deserve the same care they give so generously to others.
“At DMark Beauty, we’ve always believed that beauty and wellness should support every stage of a woman’s life, especially motherhood,” she shared.
“Mothers naturally give so much of themselves to caring for their families that their own needs often become secondary. Through Skin Sanctuary, we wanted to create a space that not only educates but also reminds moms that they deserve the same care, comfort, and attention they so freely give to others every single day.”
That sentiment was echoed by Isispharma Dermatologie CEO Grégoire Dewavrin, who emphasized the importance of pairing expert-backed skincare with empathy and accessibility.
“Too often, mothers become so focused on caring for everyone else that they forget their own skin health deserves attention too,” he said.
“At Isispharma, we believe skincare should be rooted in both science and empathy. Through initiatives like Skin Sanctuary, we hope to empower mothers with accessible dermatological solutions and practical knowledge. These tools can help them care for their families without neglecting themselves in the process.
Gentle Solutions for Children’s Sensitive Skin
Among the products highlighted during the event was the Isispharma SECALIA ATO Balm. It’s a lipid-replenishing balm formulated for very dry, sensitive, atopy-prone, and eczema-prone skin.
Designed to help calm irritation, reduce itchiness, and strengthen the skin’s protective barrier, the balm offers daily support for children experiencing heightened sensitivity. It helps keep skin feeling comfortable, nourished, and protected. It is especially beneficial during periods of increased environmental stress, such as the summer months. Its gentle yet effective formulation resonated with mothers seeking dependable skincare solutions. It helps support their children’s overall comfort and skin health.
A Reminder for Moms to Care for Their Own Skin, Too

While much of the discussion focused on children’s skin health, the event also served as a reminder for mothers to care for their own skin needs.
Featured during the gathering was Isispharma Ruboril, a dermatological skincare range developed for sensitive, redness-prone skin, including rosacea and couperose. Powered by the brand’s patented B-Calm complex, the collection helps soothe inflammation and strengthen weakened capillary walls. It also provides lasting hydration through a range of cleansers, lotions, and anti-redness treatments.
More than addressing visible redness, however, the range served as a timely reminder that self-care isn’t a luxury. It’s an essential part of overall well-being.
Making Space for Care That Goes Both Ways

Mothers are often the first to respond when their families need support. Yet through expert-led discussions, educational sessions, and thoughtfully selected skincare solutions. The event encouraged attendees to recognize that their own comfort and confidence matter just as much.
Caring for skin goes beyond products and routines. It’s found in the small, everyday choices that help us feel comfortable in our own skin. And for mothers who spend so much of their time caring for others, that same care is worth extending to themselves, too.
