Last September 19, 2017, the Dermatology Department of Makati Medical Center held their eleventh post-graduate course entitled “Skin Barrier Therapy: A New Approach in the biological Reconstruction of the Atopic Skin.” The lecture was given by Dr Maria Victoria Dizon, a Pediatric dermatologist of Makati Medical Center, which highlights the Skin Barrier Therapy with Lipgenium and Sucroester.

Lipgenium recreates lost ceramides and lipids, and strengthens or reinforces skin barrier, while Sucroester targets Staphylococcus Aureus bacteria from adhering on to the skin, thereby regulating bacterial balance on Atopic Skin.

Bioderma carries the Atoderm Intensive Baume and Gel Moussant products which are essentially soothing, purifying, and lipid-replenishing cleansing Baume and Gels. Formulated with purifying agents and Vitamin PP, they combat the proliferation of micro-organisms, irritants that aggravate cutaneous dryness. These Bioderma products also simultaneously soothes sensations of discomfort and irritation, and helps biologically strengthen the skin barrier.

Bioderma, distributed by DMarkBeauty was available alongside Derm Asia Corporation in the event.
