I try my best not just to be actively involved in dermatological organizations, but advocacy groups as well. Personally, I am part of Angels to Street Kids or A.S.K., an organization that feeds children on the street or those in public schools. I believe that anyone can be of help to those in need, since you do not necessarily have to give monetary donations in order to be of service to others.

If you are interested in organizations that help kids get off the streets and encourage them to continue studying, try visiting https://childhope.org.ph. They accept one time or recurring donations, and they also gladly accept volunteers. Their main office is in Paco Manila if you would like to visit them personally.

Another organization that tries their best to help those in need is Bahay Tuluyan, which is a non government organization that provides various programs that respond to child injustices like abuse and exploitation. They earn their money for operations through nature farms, cafes, and training centers. Their programs range from rescuing street children to providing them with education and community development. With all the blessings in our lives, giving back to the community we live in is the least we can do. Our donations or help does not have to be monumental, as long as it is genuine and out of pure intentions. As we near the season of giving, let us reflect on the year we have had and find it in our hearts to help others.
