I’ve been watching more vlogs recently and found myself enticed with both entertainment and the information. The digital era is made up of tons of bright personalities who continue to captivate their gadget devoted subscribers with their unique appeal and expressions online. The Millennials caused the great intensity of vlogs and many people including me, assume that they’re only the best people who can do them – I want to prove this wrong today. Yes, based on demographics Millennials have more to say on the internet since they hold the power to easily understand tech terms and due to their hyperconnectivity.

It’s interesting though many Millenials don’t notice that they have many older followers. I have a strong feeling that the internet disdains and marginalizes the capacities of Millenials and Senior Citizens because of the age difference. I hope many realize the value that must be projected in all forms of media is diversity, we can’t limit people because they must stop at an old age when they feel they don’t want to stop yet due to the energy and enjoyment a certain activity gives to them. 

Here’s a man in his eighties who ramped up online so quickly in the world of vlogging – Johnny Litton a.k.a. Lolo Vlogger.

He has a long career behind him as a TV personality, event host and columnist but I never have imagined that he could flow with the millennial-digital age which is so encouraging and inspiring for others. Your first thought might be “vlogging doesn’t apply to Senior Citizens because it will be difficult for them to understand”. But believe me, he can score a 10 for his utterly captivating vlogging style. His social media presence is like an adorable comeback among the Millenial set. He seemingly enjoys posting and recording his social media episodes thus disapproving the myth that all seniors hated technology.

To be given an opportunity to join him in his social media journey has been one of my most rewarding and enjoyable experiences this 2020. I am one of his younger fans!
