Do you remember the last time you went on an adventure with your family? For some, exploring new things and places may be a regular thing, but many family crave for bonding time but are unable to do so because of busy schedules and distracting gadgets. Here are a few ideas the next time the family’s schedule clears up, and it doesn’t involve flying out or using your gadgets!

If you’re looking for a quick getaway without having to travel far, you can visit the Ayala Triangle Gardens. It’s a free space with a lot of food choices, perfect for a stroll in the park or a picnic. It gives you a breather from the buzz of the business district, even for a few hours. If you have a whole afternoon off, your family can go up to Tagaytay City and go to Sky Ranch. You’ll have the cold breeze, an awesome Ferris Wheel experience, and a road trip for all to enjoy. For those with a more daredevil spirit and are really searching for that adrenaline rush, try hiking! There’s a hiking site just two hours away from Manila called Pico De Loro in Cavite and Batangas, and the 3 hour hike will give you a pretty good view of the cities. It will cost each person only about Php 1,000, and you will enjoy every step of this hike, guaranteed.

For the more laid back families, visiting the Pinto Art Museum in Antipolo Rizal is a good choice. You can bond over art pieces made by Filipino artists, and spend the rest of your day in the in house cafe.

Whatever the budget or vibe of the family, it is important to always make time for the ones we love. Even if we just spare a day or two for them, it will definitely bond you together and hopefully these activities will aid you in that process!
